Service Type
Change Order Estimating
A change order needs the same discipline as the original bid: measured quantities against the actual scope change, not a round-number guess.
What it is
Change order pricing quantifies exactly what's different between the original scope and the revised scope — added or deleted work, a substituted material, a design revision — and prices that delta the same way the original estimate was built, so the number is defensible if an owner or GC pushes back on it.
When to ask for this
Ask for change order estimating whenever scope shifts after award: an RFI response that changes a detail, an owner-requested addition, a field condition that wasn't on the original drawings. A number built from measured quantities holds up in negotiation in a way a round-number allowance doesn't.
Available for every trade we cover
Change Order Estimating isn’t limited to one trade — request it for a single scope or a full multi-trade bid package.
